What we can do Today
The giant earthquake which struck off the coast in Japan on the 11th of March has also changed the city of Tokyo. Foreign embassies advised their citizens in Japan to consider leaving Tokyo, and a lot of people in Tokyo returned to their home countries.
As we still love Tokyo and we still feel its beauty, we like to share the wonderful scenery of the capital of Japan, with you. Last year, we started filming unique scenes of Tokyo. We would like to introduce the beauty of Tokyo with the rest of the world and change the image of the city back to normal.
‘Tokyo Walking’ are short 1-minute films of Tokyo, and it feels like you are actually walking around in this charming city. We are planning to upload as much as possible.

Filming Content
In the spring of 2010, we (Film Production Company, Four Nine) made short clips on the 4 seasons in Tokyo. We made these footages for ‘China Weather TV’ and the concept was as followed:

  • Feeling the four seasons through the scenery while walking around Tokyo.
  • Feeling the energy and the happiness of the people in Tokyo.

To bring this concept to the screen, we selected, observed and filmed certain spots in Tokyo and turned these footages into 1 minute clips telling you a short story on this specific area in Tokyo.

The plan of this project was accepted by the Chinese weather channel and we continued filming the scenery of Tokyo in August, 2010. As of today, we have made 131 short clips which will be broadcasted in China anytime soon.

We would like to present the beauty of Tokyo’s nature, the scenery of the city and the expression of the people…
Also, we will film the office areas which represents the centre of the Japanese economy. Through the concept of ‘Four Seasons of Tokyo Walking’ we would like to reintroduce the city of Tokyo to all the people, inside and outside of Japan.

Filming Camera
This time, we filmed the city of Tokyo with the following SLR Camera, the Canon EOS 7D. This camera is used by professionals in filming and we always strive for the highest quality. Please enjoy the full HD footages of Tokyo.
