Rickshaw and Japanese culture. Experience Japanese tradition easily at “Jidaiya”!
The second fun part of Asakusa Osampo is experiencing Rickshaw riding. Jidaiya, an old Rickshaw shop for tourists, responds to the need of the customers. They have various courses you can choose, like short rides for 10 minutes. Drivers are well trained experts guiding with detailed information on history and culture. Not only that, they can tell you about the popular photo spots and shops. There is a course going into Tokyo Skytree Town from Asakusa, too. You can leave your belongings at the shop while Ricksha ridding.
Jidaiya also offers 16 Japanese culture experience programs at their facility. You can have a precious experience of Japanese culture such as Iaido (samurai sword ), making Japanese sweets, etc.

You can ride Rickshaw in Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree areas.
You will enjoy listening to the guidance by the driver who has an extensive knowledge of tourist spots and history.
Iaido (samurai sword) experience. You will learn how to use the samurai sword and Bushido (samurai code of chivalry).
Tsumami-zaiku (traditional craftwork) experience. Making accessories using Japanese materials cut in small peices.
Sado (Japanese tea ceremony experience). Try the process of making tea using authentic tea utensils in a tranquil Japanese-style room.
Japanese sweets making experience. You can also take photos in the Japanese -studio.
