The TW staff experienced the much-talked-about "Forest of dialogue museum talks”
The exhibits are all about dialogue. It's a museum where you can experience diversity through the connection by dialogue of various things such as age, handicaps, culture, religion and ethnicity. This time, we experienced "Dialogue in silence". Headphones are used to block out sounds, and talking is strictly forbidden. With the help of a hearing-impaired staff member, we kept changing the situation while trying to create a non-verbal dialogue. During the 90-minute experience, we discovered the difficulty, wonder, the richness of expression, and the possibilities that exist through dialogue without words. We realized how much we'd been relying on words and how many things we'd been neglecting. There's also a "Dialogue in the dark" which doesn't involve the sense of sight. A "Dialogue with time" experience is also being prepared to enable people to discuss how to live while thinking about aging. All of these are things that you can't talk about or understand unless you actually experience them. Reservations are required, and you can attend on your own or with a group . This program originated in Germany and is offered in over 50 countries.
